 It's that time of year again. Time for you to venture back to your alma mater and gather with your brothers to celebrate UTM's Homecoming. We started a new tradition last year of making a bigger deal out of Homecoming and it worked. We have more alumni return to the KA house last year than in any year in recent memory. Thank you to all those who come back and to those who didn't we hope we can look forward to seeing you this year.
Events:
Below is the agenda for the weekend.
The alumni chapter is renting a van for Friday and Saturday night for
transportaion to and from the hotel. A number will be provide so you can call and request trasnportation.
- Friday Afternoon:
If you are arriving early, the ropepull
championships will be going on. The championship pull is around 3:15. Our active
brothers had a strong showing last year and made it to the championship pull. Can
they do it again?
- Friday Evening:
8:00 - 10:00: Join us at the KA house to meet some new brothers and hopefully celebrate a Rope Pull Championship
10:00: Join us as the KA house for a party hopefully celebrating a Rope Pull Championship.
- Saturday Morning:
10:30 - 1:00: UTM hosts "Quad City". Quad City features live music on the Pepsi Music Stage, reunion tents, and inflatables for the kids.
- Saturday Noon:
12:00 - 1:00: Lunch at the house courtesy of the active chapter.
1:00 - 2:00: Alumni Chapter and KAM
meetings. All alumni are invited and encouraged to attend.
- Saturday Afternoon:
2:00 - 5:00: The UTM Skyhawks take on the
Tennessee Tech. The active chapter will be tailgating in the end zone and all alumni are invited to attend.
- Saturday Evening:
5:00 - 9:00: SEC Football and alumni cookout. Local alumni brother David Bell is opening his house up to us for the evening. David has a special reason to celebrate as his son was inducted as a KA pledge this Rush.
