All About Homecoming

Homecoming is 3 weeks away (Oct. 3rd-5th) and so far the response from alumni has been great. We hope a lot of you are considering coming back this year. Below is the planned agenda for the weekend:

Social Quarters Patio & Volleyball Court:

When we began the planning of the social quarters it became apparent that the volleyball court was going to be a casualty of progress. After a short absence, the highly missed feature of our property is back! The active chapter put in many hours of fundraising and labor to bring the court back from the dead. Job well done to those involved both physically and financially. Pictures of the new court can be seen here:

KAM has also been busy over the summer improving our piece of property in Martin. Shortly after building the new building, it became obvious that we needed a patio in front of it. After reviewing several quotes, we picked "a guy" and got it done in time for Rush this year. This will be a great addition for Homecoming. Pictures of the patio and wall being built are on the web site. The project is actually complete and we should have pictures of the finished project up this week.

Thank You Alumni:

We would like to take a moment to thank those alumni who have donated this year for their continued financial support. Last year at Homecoming we set a fundraising goal and thanks to the many contributions and alumni dues we met that goal and then some. Much of this year's progress could not have happened without this financial support. For a complete list of those who gave visit the web site.

We all know that the current economy makes giving hard. With that in mind we have made it easy for you to contribute without having a dime come out of your pocket. All it takes is the click of a mouse. Please support your chapter by clicking the various ads on the web site. So far we have raised almost $200 through this program. The more clicks, the more we earn and best of all it costs nothing.
