Fellow Active and Alumni Brothers,
Welcome to the first edition of the Gentlemen's Quarterly. This is the first installment of a new practice the alumni chapter is implementing to keep you informed about what is going on with Delta Upsilon. We plan on sending this out every quarter as a supplement to the newsletter and hope that it will increase your awareness of Delta Upsilon's active and alumni accomplishments.
Please take some time to browse through this. For even more information, head on over to the web site at www.kao1865.org. If you have not been there in a while, much has changed.
Fraternally,
Alumni Brother Brandon Lewis

New Brother Accounts
If you've visited the chapter forum recently you may have heard mention of Brother Accounts. This is a new way for you to keep us informed about your whereabouts and what you are doing. Not only do we want to keep you informed, but we want you to keep us informed as well.
So, what is a Brother Account you ask? A Brother Account is a way for you to sign in to the web site and update your mailing address, e-mail address, phone numbers, and much more. It is going to be crucial in the years to come as the alumni chapter has much planned and since the 35th anniversary of our chapter is just on the horizon.
If you haven't done so already, please register your Brother Account today. All registrations require validation by a site administrator, so please allow 24 hours to be verified.

Alumni Dues:
Alumni dues are due every year at Homecoming. They are currently $25 per year. These dues help pay for the operational costs of sending out mailings and also support sending an alumni board member to the National Convention every year. If you were not aware, your alumni chapter gets a vote also. Please support your alumni chapter by sending your dues to the following address:

Homecoming 2008:
Over the past few years Homecoming has not really drawn much attention from the alumni. The active chapter does their part in competing in all the events, but alumni turnout is usually pretty slim. There are many easy explanations for why this is. It's not very interesting and why would you take a Saturday out of your busy lives to come to something that really doesn't amount to more than a college fraternity party.
At this year's homecoming meeting the alumni board discussed many options to create something that would draw alumni back to Martin year after year. We had many great ideas, but we would like to hear from you why you don't come back and what you would like Homecoming to be like, (i.e. What would get you to come to it?). Please give us some input and we promise that your suggestions will not fall on deaf ears. Getting together every 5 years at Convivium is great, but with 600+ alumni now, there isn't any reason why we can't do it every year and have a good turnout.
Head on over to the chapter forum and join in on the discussion.
