It is an organization whose purpose is to make men above all things; not only leaders on the gridiron and every other walk of college life, but men who, when they leave the halls of their alma mater, will bring honor upon themselves and their fraternity. It is intended primarily to bring out of a man those qualities of mind and character that will fit him to be a leader in every walk of life; it is intended to teach men that there is something nobler and better than temporal things of his life.
